This is the slideshow we made for the memorial visitation in Pelham. Christy Britten was the photographer that took the beautiful photos of Elizabeth Ann. We are so grateful to her for her talent and time.
The songs used are:
In The Garden (sung by Anne Murray) - This is Jeremy's favorite hymn (and my granddad's too).
Who Am I (Casting Crowns) - Just love this song.... and Mark & Melanie Hall
Glory Baby (Watershed) - Sweet song about babies gone too soon
Baby Mine (Dumbo movie) - Just a sweet mom to baby song that I've always loved
Please continue to pray for us as we grieve our loss and as Johnna physically heals. We are so thankful to each person who has visited with us, sent cards/emails/etc., brought food, sent flowers and lifted us up in prayer.
Much love,
Jeremy & Johnna

Dear Johnna,
ReplyDeleteI've been following your story since the prayer group was created on Facebook, and I've been crying for you all along the way. I cannot begin to imagine what this time has been like, and my heart is breaking for you and Jeremy. The pictures are incredible, and the video is truly beautiful. I know they will be a great comfort in helping you remember your time with Elizabeth Ann.
Next month I'll be singing some songs on a concert by a composer named Eric Genuis. One of the songs was written about his baby daughter who died in his arms. You can probably relate to the words of this song...
Angel In Disguise
See deep in my eyes
The window to my soul
Tears like drops of rain
And these tears of joy and pain
Life’s a mystery life’s a wonder
To behold your suffering child
In your arms
Chorus
When the storm has come
Let it come we’ll fight together
When the thunder sounds
In my arms you’ll be forever
O that the world could see what my eyes see
When I look in your heart such beauty
Look beyond tiny one you will always be my child
My child
My little treasure
My little angel in disguise
My heart so moved
To hear your gentle cries
No words needed such a wonder
To behold your suffering child
In your arms
All the years of dedication
All the years’ uncertainty
Can they compare with the joy I live
When I hold you close to me
It is I who is rich with your love little one
Love so pure and unscarred by a world come undone
Untouched by the cruel intentions of some
I am so glad you’re in my life
I’m so glad I’m part of your world
The world is a much better place thanks to you
And forever you’re my tiny girl
Chorus
You continue to be in my prayers.
Love,
Krista
